- Recovery holds when the community around a person holds. We fund the community, not just the moment of crisis.

- Donors are told where their money went and what it did. Figures we publish are dated and sourced, or they are not published.

- We favour support that a program can plan around over contributions that arrive once and are gone.
- Dignity
- The people we serve are not case studies. Their privacy and their standing come before our storytelling.
Our commitment
Legacy 12 Foundation commits to disciplined governance, honest reporting and grantmaking that is judged on whether it made recovery more sustainable. We will publish what we fund, account for what we spend, and correct the record in public when we get something wrong.
Why it matters
Recovery programs are rarely undone by a single bad month. They are undone by never knowing whether there will be a next one. A foundation that gives steadily, reports honestly and keeps its overhead visible is worth more to a program than a larger gift that arrives once and is never repeated.
